Dr. Kornstein routinely employs his own breast lift and reduction technique. His technique focuses on sculpting the breast gland and not lifting with the skin. This results in a natural breast implant-like shape, filling of the upper pole hollow, as well as enhanced longevity of the result. If desired, fat grafting can be added to enhance upper breast fullness.

Lifting the breast is conventionally performed through a combination of breast gland repositioning and skin excision; both requiring scarring on the breast mound. Resolving oneself to scarring procedures is more common with advancing age. Dr. Kornstein can, in most instances, avoid breast scarring by using non-invasive rejuvenation technologies to tighten and elevate the breast — either in combination with breast implants or as a stand-alone breast lift procedure. When indicated, he also suggests augmentation and repair of the weakened breast tissues to reduced capsular contracture, as well as to maintain the longevity of the aesthetic result.
